Euro-Flex ESD Conductive Interlocking Tile is a semi glossy, permanently conductive solid vinyl industrial flooring product.  It allows static electricity to pass through each tile without the use of adhesives.  No adhesive is required.  It is installed over concrete or over any structurally sound and level resilient flooring. This product is designed for electronics manufacturing facilities, FAA super-sensitive control tower installations, explosives manufacturing or handling, or medical areas that require conductive flooring. Euro-Flex ESD Conductive Interlocking tiles are ideal for use over access floors.  It is safe for use with office chair casters and heavy rolling carts.  Installations may be uninstalled and reinstalled in other locations making it perfect for leased or temporary spaces.

Conductive flooring is not a consumer flooring and requires heel straps with 1 MΩ resistors for user protection.  Not recommended for use under fork lift traffic.

Sub-floors must be structurally sound and level.  They can be  installed over concrete, wood, metal, epoxy, terrazzo or old VCT or asbestos tile. Grout lines of ceramic tile should be leveled (to avoid telegraphing).  Products and building shall be acclimatized to a temperature of at least 68°F 24 hours prior to installation.  To accommodate thermal expansion, a 12mm (.5”) expansion space shall be provided  away from walls for any approx. 50m2 (500 sf) area. (Similar to the precautions taken when installing laminate floors). Tiles can be cut to size with a utility knife, circular, or jig saw.  Tiles should be connected using a non-marking rubber mallet.  Siga Circuit 7485-4025 conductive double sided adhesive tape should placed along one side of the installation to secure copper tape (at multiple points) to the back of that row of tiles.  The copper tape (# 4000-1350) is then used for grounding.  Grounding should be carried out according to local codes.


Maintain with neutral non-film forming detergent. Please note that conductive waxes or dressings are not recommended for non-absorbent flooring as these products may build up and become insulating if soil coats such dressings.   Do not wax.  Follow the detailed maintenance instructions for conductive resilient Euro-Flex™.

 Limited Warranty:

Products are warranted for ONE YEAR if installed in strict adherence to factory specifications on approved sub-floors and by trained personnel. Products are warranted for FIVE YEARS against non-conformance to technical specifications.  LIFETIME warranty on conductive properties under normal conditions of use and with adherence to ESD maintenance instructions. Warranties are limited to replacing or at seller’s option, repairing products if notice of defect is given in writing and if TSC’s examination shows that the products have failed under the terms and limitations of this limited warranty. No responsibility for the cost or removing, re-installing or freight can be assumed under this warranty.
